Sorry, I missed your comment earlier. I am not how the brand Snakefight originated, but it surely is a colorful name! I was aware of Snakefight brand matches also being manufactured in Sweden, but not sure how they are connected. Swedish Match was the largest match company in the world in the early 20th century, and frequently bought up smaller match companies from all over the world. I assume the Snakefight brand was probably acquired by Swedish Match during one of these purchases, much like how they took over the production of Kookaburra Brand Matches from a smaller match manufacturer in Australia.
